Steps First, you need a PNG or JPG image file of size 512×512 pixels. Right-click on app package -> New -> Image Asset. Select Image option in Asset Type options. Click on directory box at right and browse and select your image. Make sure the image name is ic_launcher. Click Next (Note: Existing launcher files will be overwritten). Click Finish.
